More about the Taipei trip, basically everything during the trip was smooth sailing and we had a good time shopping and eating, more shopping and eating.
The places we went were; Shilin Night Market, Dan Sui, Living Mall,Miramar Shopping Mall, Ministry of Sound - Taipei, Xi men ding (where we stayed at and spend the most time shopping.For the first time in my life i shopped till i dropped, as soon as i saw my bed in the hotel that is.
Shilin and Xi Men Ding i guess were the best for us, minus the retarded crowd at Shilin over the weekend. There were alot of good deals around but you just gotta keep your eyes peeled. I bought a pair of Japanese Designer jeans from Evisu, an Addidas jacket, a Levi's jacket and a pair of Onitsuka Tiger Mexico 66.
Clubbing in Taipei was interesting, the people didnt dance, they just stood around the dance floor, people dressed as american rappers basically did a few break dance moves that lasted 20 seconds and then retired to the sides of the dance floor. Eden, Chris and Myself were the only ones dancing and enjoying ourselves, the place was neat and really grand but the people were a letdown. But what the heck we enjoyed ourselves being the "kings of the dance floor" haha because once we got back to Singapore we won't be able to dance like we did.
My aim was kinda to experience their culture and life, but was kinda turned off at the lack of culture Taipei had to offer, over there, there consisted of only 2 types of people; the Jap wannabes and the american Hip Hop wannabes. Everyone dresses like each other and they play english songs everyday all day without knowing the lyrics, interesting. Hah!
