4 more days to my POP the end of my BMT, going to miss my platoon mates. Wonder where i'll get posted to. Really hope to get to OCS. Looking at the pics of the nat champs, didnt see a single shot of myself, playing polo for 4 years and yet not having any pic of myself in the game is just so sad. Speaking of which im damn happy to get that medal i've waited for after 4 years. Congrats to everyone from NP, almost everyone won something which is a tremendous feat as compared to last year.
In the past people looked at the schedule and regarded NP as a walkover. Now they expect a tough and determined team. The sense of satisfaction to see this is tremendous even though i hardly got to play as i was unable to book out for my games.
It was the fact that when i watched the games since i was only a year 1 and playing for the IVP when i was year 2 i told myself if i were ever captain or president i would make a change, a change in the culture and a change in our standard and equipment. Whether the entire NP standard has improved with my efforts is now no longer an issue, as everyone is proud and happy, we leave behind a legacy for our future NP juniors to continue.
To everyone in NPCP continue to paly hard and teach the juniors well for the hard work doesn't end here, as we are to pass our skills and experience and spirit down to the next batch.
We live only once, make a difference!
